The FN 509M MRD is a midsize, optics‑ready pistol designed for concealed carry and defensive use. Equipped with the FN Low Profile Optics Mounting System, it allows direct mounting of more than 10 popular miniature red dot optics without the need for adapter plates.
Featuring a 4-inch slide and barrel, the 509M MRD offers an ideal balance of concealability and shootability. Enhanced ergonomics include improved controls, aggressive grip texturing with two interchangeable backstraps, a flat‑faced trigger, and fully ambidextrous controls for left‑ or right‑handed shooters.
Additional features include a MIL‑STD‑1913 accessory rail, a cold hammer‑forged stainless steel barrel with a recessed target crown, combat‑style sights, and enhanced front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation.
The FN 509M MRD comes complete with two magazines, a hard case, a locking device, and an owner’s manual.
